Nice Doc.

I have to agree with Apoc that having inserts in 001 increments would be extreme overkill. I think having a set of 5 or 6 that jump by 003 or even 005 would be plenty. I just found it interesting that you *could* have a set in 001 increments if you wanted to.

Probably a better use for this list is to have a reference for what's out there so folks can put together their own perfect set of inserts.

I have made a kit of inserts from .665 to .685 by .001" increments.

Not easy or cheap, but definitely doable.

I didn't make the barrel...

Does a steam powered KP count?

Steam-powered KP? that doesn't sound thermally stable at all... it sounds crazy.

It was fun and scary as hell... Think vertcal tank with a coil of copper and a charcoal fire burning inside the heat shield...

Smoke, sparks, steam on a brass and wood marker... The ultimate steampunk gun.

Massively dangerous

It does have a sight glass and a thermal over pressure valve... The system will happily do 600 psi, and the safety is set at 1800 psi (That number kinda scares me, though)

I did not get a chance to run it through its paces, but I have tested all of the systems, so theoretically it *should* work

I would love to see a video of this gun. I don't want to be the one filming it, mind you, and certainly not from within the effective fragmentation radius. But I would LOVE to see the video.

So would I... And I too, am not willing to hold/fire/film it, and I built the silly thing.

Guess I need to finish the boiler and the new KP... Get it mounted up and see if I can make it shoot.
