I have grown a distaste for wacky over the last year or so. The refs never seem to care and let players do what ever they want. I have had a ref tell me that my velocity didnt need to be checked by him because he saw me use the chronograph... And $65 a case for rock solid paint? No thanks. I might give them another shot at the new years game, other than that I will stick to Xtreme.

I like wacky and playing there is fun and the guys running the field do a decent enough job. This was the first incident I've seen there in over three years of playing at the field and I primarily blame the parents for letting this happen. Wacky isn't innocent in this, but as a parent I'd never put my kid in harms way like was done in this example.

I'll re-iterate what I said on the second page, Wacky is a second rate field these days. In the 90's it was the best field to play at, these days not so much. The rental equipment is sub-par, the fields haven't been updated (or even repaired much) in 20 years, the service stinks, the refs are careless and lazy, and they don't even provide a decent safe zone (you set up out of your car). On top of this, Wacky has always been a place where hot-heads and loudmouths are tolerated.
There are 2 better fields in the St. Louis area: Gateway and Xtreme. Both provide safe areas with tables to set up at, excellent service, a much better and more laid-back crowd, refs that care about paintball, high quality rental gear, and a fun atmosphere. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

I work near Gateway and will check them out. Never heard much about Xtreme but will check that too.

Yes, Millstadt. NO, Wacky Warriors is owned by completely different people.

Wacky does have 2 locations Millstadt and Wentzville.

I play at Wacky Wentzville only for the NYE Big Game. Even then it's scary with the safety.

Pretty much instead of going through the town and turning left at the four way stop to get to wacky, you turn right onto Douglas RD and drive straight till you see the Xtreme sign on the left; should be a couple hundred feet past the railroad tracks. That is of course if your are coming in from St. Louis, any other way I have no idea.
