They have an excellent field with old armoured vehicles as bunkers and another with a very fun trench system. The owners are cool as heck and they love to make Jerry (or whomever owns Coram now) crazy with their abutting property lines and by actually paying their refs with cash (instead of trade goods or coupons or whatever Coram is paying). If you want to find out where all the good refs from Coram went, check out HV. Definitely a highly recommended field and I did not even play their castle yet. Al and I are gonna have to road trip out there again soon. Friggin L.I is such a bitch to get to. Mostly because you cannot get there from here without involving New Jersey. D. PS: Take B.O.S.'s review with a grain of salt. He is or was a Coram fanboy for years. |

| MCB Member | Drum.. Nah... once again get your facts strait.. I quit working there in 2002 to go work with a friend of mine that was starting a field and store in Nassau. It was short lived and now I moved on to teching for Paintball Arena. I havent played at corum after 2002, I just started playing there again after urgings from the geese. So after 5 years of not playing there I started to again only to find out that the field is going to go away soon. More into the background of my experiences at high-vi... We used to go out there every week end with my group of guys, 6 or so people that made up the bulk of the orginal ECA members and we usually played pump and split three cases between all of us.... Well the field owners found out we were only coming out there to play pump and stopped giving us the multiple case discount we used to get... About this time they started forming a home team to chase off troublesome people, and all around make a challengenging team to play againts.. well after getting over shot (not like 10 balls like a whole hopper when walking off the field) we had enough and went to the field manager he didnt care for us as it seemed.. it was pretty much an answer of " Well maybe you guys shouldnt play here any more if you dont like the way they play " Consdiering we were there every week end it pissed us off.. Thats about the time we only started fielding the whole team at EMR events.

Sounds like it worked pretty well. As for "strait" facts, I think it is illuminating that you draw a distinction between getting overshot by "10 balls" as opposed to the whole hopper. Is that meant to imply that you and your ECA boys draw a limit at ten bonus balls when you overshoot? That is VERY generous of you standup 'ballers... | |

| MCB Member | The distinction was that coming from a tourny background 10 balls can be acceptable if your walking off the field and past a lane.. not a whole freaking hopper... Face it drum.. paintball isnt in 1987 any more the rules of engagment are different its not good old boys with nelspots and such... We wanted the sport to grow. It did and now we are faced with the consquences of such growth. Do I like it no.... Do I adapt to what I face... yes. Also.. why do you have to be so god damn hostile to every post I make. Keep in mind we are both defending this year, I dont need enemys inside the castle.
