My sneaky but mean way to "Cheat" NOT WIPING - Page 7

Try this out some time, I know a ton of people who fall for it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT RUN DOWN THE FIELD AND BUNKER OR SURRENDER THE PERSON WHILE THEY ARE GETTING CHECKED!!!!

I can't say I'm on either side of this debate.

there is a time and place for most dishonest things in this sport. But there is a clear difference between the sport of paintball and the game.

Most people Especially the guys that like playing around with the kind of guns that are popular on this site, enjoy the game of paintball, at least when they are shooting some nice vintage gear.

The game, be it recball woodsball, a scenario, or throw together games I feel there is no place for being dishonest, be mindful that what your doing is playing and not competing.

If your competing in a tournament/ practicing for the sport with your team or another team that you are scrimmaging with its a different animal. if your scrimmaging against a team stupid tricks like this can help you get a read on players which helps you in the actual competition that you are practicing for. Doing things like this for any other reason besides in practice or in competition I find meaningless.

Be reasonable with others when you are only playing. Getting overly upset about something like this is just as ridiculous As doing it.

Related to the op's original post, that kind of thing is kinda dead mans walk type move, like technically it's ok but ya it's not cool.

Related to wipers, it can be pretty obvious that someone wipes. Everyone figures it out fairly quickly, my perspective is that you know I hit you and I know I hit you, that's good enough for me. If you shoot me up later to make yourself feel better sure go for it, it's a game and I still won (technically)

A pretty great man once said,
"no matter what you do day to day, you are either making a stand for excellence or mediocrity. Excellence matters."
So play with a sense of honor and integrity because at the end of the day excellence does matter, even if you are only excellent at being a stand up guy who got used for a target. It's still better than being a mediocre douchebag.
