I have to wear arm guards when I play big games or scenarios because I'll hide in a thorn bush if it'll give me a better angle.

Yea I'm not too bright, my Dad's nickname for me is Dumbass... not even kidding.

no buildings no trails is my general principle - I hate getting trapped in a box, and I hate being where everyone expects me to be.

I think our regular refs know this so they always come up with some game where I have to be in a building!

I don't ever put myself in a spot that I can't have complete control in and no way to escape. I plan to shoot as many people as possible in any given area. So a steep hill waiting for a couple people wouldn't be on my list. Chances are, you'll get one shot off and miss, they'll know where you are and charge you. You'll be dead from the game and probably injured from trying to escape and made no difference for your team.

I don't know what to say to help you stay on your feet. Why do you fall so much? A neurological tick?

When hills are so steep that the only way down is to slide... you tend to either start, or end up on your backside...

at 1:00 you can see one of our hills, sure you can go around to get to a less steep part, but you lose time that way, and give the other team time to get into position...

I was running a snow shoe race one year and learned a trick about hills from a runner near me: slide. Its often much faster to slide down a hill on the snow then to try to run it. I won that race too

I'm a little bit of both. Often, to get from point A to point .75B, I take a trail, then move off the trail and take my time creeping around a bit. Tends to work a bit, and at least I have a bit more natural cover between me and the guys shooting at me when it does happen to go to crap.

High boots... Tight laces, Russc. It works for the military, and with my years of riding BMX and killing my ankles, I need all the help I can get...

I bought a good pair of high ankle Rocky's years ago, and that was the best paintball purchase I have made.

I think guarding is the wrong word, perhaps secure is better, but I digress.

I like sticking to the open areas when I want a fire fight, but if I am trying to cause havoc, I will hug the tapes through whatever the terrain gives me.
