My younger brother snapped his braided line off the ASA when he tripped at a field, been playing for about 10 years or more now and luckily that was the only CO2 failure I've ever seen.

It's an old video. He probably put oil in the fill nipple

The Stakos tanks are banned in European events currently too. Apparently they are designed to expand and contract with pressure, but since they don't have a liner, bubbles of air in the outer surface will 'vent' and sound like the tank is leaking when under pressure.

In an effort to suppress any liability issues, the tourney series promoter has temporarily banned the use to the tanks. I think I read this in Facefull or APG ... not sure where exactly.

How old do you think the video is?

I think maybe the Asa broke, not the valve. It looks like it was going a bit slow to me.

I am not sure, from the video here are the things that I can tell...
The Bunkers dont have tubes connecting them..That puts it pretty close to 2001,
The Hoppers have a revy shape to them...No real help there.

Thats a CO2 tank flying off due to broken asa...

And stako tanks aren't banned anymore, they were for a brief time
