my first high end marker was a Line SI Bushmaster. It is an original fixed barrel, 14in long, and a lever changer. Note it's a silver handled changer, that works!

it was a clear step above what was the norm in the mid atlantic at that time. It was my primary marker well into the '90's

Well I too bought a Rapide in '88 after renting Splaty's. The trigger pull would kill you though and if the paint was big the Splaty was better.
That winter I bought the AGS version of the 68 Magnum with AT that was nice gun.

I suppose my Lapco Grey Ghost 2011 is the most "high-end" of all of my guns.

I worked all summer to afford a 1998 Autococker, which I used twice before promptly ruining it with unnecessary and poorly-selected aftermarket parts and bad timing. Of course, at the time "high-end" was basically anything nicer than a Spyder or Pro-Lite. I held onto it, constantly trying to configure it the way I liked up until 2010 when I traded it for a PGP to sell.

The only time I've ever owned something that could have, at any time, been considered a best-of-the-best gun was a few years ago when I briefly had a modified ECX Intimidator. By then it was severely dated in terms of its size so I sold it before ever bringing it to the field. Kind of regret that, as back in 2002 I would have killed for one of those things.

my second autococker was basically my first truly high end gun, with about a thousand dollars into it... and it was a mech. after I quit the tourney scene my high ends were pumps, including the Scopey sniper and customized AM Illusion (which became my favourite speedball gun).

My first high end was an Autococker, I got it in 95. I also had a shocker shortly after SP bought it.
