I got burned bad my UPS today. I bought an Empire Sniper from a member here.

I paid:

$45.00 shipping
$39.00 taxes
$75.32 brokerage fees + delivery fees...

Not happy. I spent 2 hours on the phone with UPS and tore a strip off 3 managers until I got the Regional Manager of UPS, and will not be paying the outrageous brokerage fees.

My Box Gun (the one splattttttt just sold) had $250 in brokerage fees. I believe it was DHL.

Yup! As a Canadian buying from the USA, i almost ALWAYS expect to pay more for shipping. Its quite silly to expect otherwise.

I know how to use UPS but in return there no protection if one insist of sending it that way.
Under 20$CAD of value there no taxes or brokerage fee.
