Blue just posted that they are going to be Shooting Planet Eclipse starting this weekend.

Wonder what this means for EMR field paint.

In the email sent to passholders, Blue indicated that they've switched over to Valken paint.

Grafitti will be his big event paint ($65 prepaid) and Fate is available for open play ($50 prepaid).

I used Valken Grafitti for the first time in the summer (at OXCC) and the e-blazer and automag both loved it.

I used some Vulcan Grafitti this summer after a hiatus for some time and was overly impressed by the quality of the paint. Maybe its "par" now but I used to shoot pretty high end paint and found this superior to what I had in the past

valken paint was great when i first got my hands on it 2ish years ago?

it was brittle, it shot like a dream, it was a medium bore .684/.682

recently its been really bouncy, oblong, tiny, and just not the same as it once was....

a good batch of valken is great
a meh batch of valken is gonna be no fun

i've been shooting nothin but gi/dxs for the last couple years, it just seems to be more consistent

hopefully a field like EMR will get the good valken stuff (where as some rec and stores over here may not...)

I was at Quest and thought the Graffiti paint was good stuff. I didn't technically analyze it for consistency or breaks, but at $65 I'm going to enjoy it a lot more in 2013.
