My first electro - help me choose

So i have a tippmann 98 and i am looking for a cheap entry level gun that will fire automatic. These are my considerations:

Gog envy
Dangerous power e1
Smart parts ion 2.0

Thoughts?

I would take envy over ion 2.0 , Very similar markers mind you.
Look at the Invert Mini, I thought Id hate it until I bought one and now take that back after owning one. Very simple gun that I have enjoyed. If you can look at used guns, you will be able a better gun for the same price as a low end one and most people keep their gear in good condition.

GoG eXTCy is a great pick up for around $225.00 or so, Im actually downgrading to one myself. They're just as capable of shooting 12.5 psp and mowing fools as any other similarly priced electro.

Avoid Kingman/Tippmann/Azodin as they are all the same caliber of marker as you have now.

Get a cheap spyder electro..
What is the point of 'fire automatic' anyway? You cant use FA in a tourny, and every field I have ever been to is SEMI ONLY.

All i know is coming around a corner and popping one in my opponent's chest, while they freak out a rope me from head to toe. I want a gun to take in and even the odds. Maybe i don't know the difference between semi and full auto, but 1 paintball vs 10 is annoying. When i'm playinng long distance, my 98 can hold anyone in their place. When i am running front, i would like a little more firepower. I only play woodsball.

Thanks for your repsonses. Keep em comin

I second the Mini. Mine is having solenoid problems at the moment, which I hear is common, but I also hear that Empire's customer service is excellent. If you're considering one, I'd be happy to report back on resolution when I get around to sending it in for repair.

I would say invest a little more and stay off of a spyder , look for something with eyes as it will help with chopping paint if you plan to shoot quick. Getting something a little better will give him to ability to use an actual light trigger pull and can shoot fast just using semi or if he wishes full auto that most lower end guns still offer. My field lets us play with whatever we want unless its a tourny.

Seems like you need to educate the people you play with aswell and let them know they dont need to bonus ball someone. When I played alot of woodsball my egrip A5 was perfect and I didnt need a electro hopper or compressed air to play with and was able to shoot quick even on semi. If your looking for more speedball style markers again look at the eXTCy or mini , these type of guns should be using a electro hopper and HPA

I personally would look into a basic electro, no need to spend 200 plus on a marker you may not even like using. Pick one up that is easy to maintain and parts are available for. I would stay away from the older spyder type, they are junk. You should be able to pick something up for under 100.

learn to tuck back in after a kill. it'll be way more effective than buying an electro for 10 paintball vs 10, because they probably weren't "freaking out," if you catch my drift.

i'd suggest a spyder electro too if it's only your first electro. it'll be a blowback with eyes so it'll be similar enough to your tippmann for you to figure out how to maintain it. the spyder electra or fenix would be good examples. other than that, i would choose the e1 between your 3 choices.
