Not a good idea.

I took my handheld chrono to my friends slingshot... they can fire upwards of 600-700 fps...

Some can certainly exceed 300 fps, but you can also change the bands/tubes so they shoot at appropriately safe speeds. Like any other paintball equipment, chrono before shooting at someone to make sure.

yeah i chrono'd it, i never pull it back in full retard stretch. it has the most powerful stong bands money can buy on it. thera band gold. yeah but no worse than paintball guns and sticks for sure. pretty good stupid fun for sure, we love it. yeah that is the war truck, every dent is an honor. it's been through hell. thanks for watching guys.

WTF DID I JUST WATCH!!!

That was one of the funniest things I have watched in a long time. I'm not sure that I could get involved in such a melee; but I would LOVE to see this live! The next time I travel down to see my mother in Augusta, I have to hit you up to check this out. Beating each other with those foam swords was awesome; watching you throw them was off the chain.

Goodtimes, definitely.

Most standard slingshots(standard wristrocket type with yellow band) shoot well under 280. We used them at a youth camp, fun for while. Especially watching one of the girl counselors chase one of the guys all the way across the field. She stayed within about 8ft and never actually shot him, even though we were yelling at her to do so. When she finally took the shot and missed we all about died laughing. ah good times.

Most kids have never shot one these days, so I tried doing a forward rush to get a better position and wouldn't you know it I got hit 3x times in the chest by the little buggers. oh well
