| I like Guns and Cigars.  Join Date: Jul 2008 | So, what's the deal with First Strikes?
I remember reading about these when they first came out. Supposedly they weigh more and hit harder? Now that they are so prevalent, will there need to be a lower FPS set of rules for them? Edit: Another talking point, markers that switch b/n balls and First Strikes chrono a lot hotter with first strikes. Do you player that use FS rounds chrono accordingly?

They weigh the same or less than paint, but due to aerodynamics and spin stabilization, they are more accurate and shoot farther.  Ty

Watched one of my team mates weilding a marker I built for him DESTROY the opposing team on a "small" woods field... 6 people marked out at over 150 feet. The best part was... 6 shots, 6 eliminiations... And here he was worrying over having to make a mag change Ty

They DO impact harder, I thought someone was shooting hot, but it turns out it was a FS round.

They maintain their speed a lot better. So at 75' a FS round might feel like a reg paintball's 20' impact.
