About time for this to come back.

Right now for me it should be "Why do you want to play paintball?" as I have yet to play my first game in well over a decade.

But... I remember the games of comrades past. Of games played with best friends. Days shared from getting ready, driving to the field, hunkering in the woods, eliminations made and given, hanging around the "club house" afterwards, driving back to town to live it all again over a buffet dinner.

Some times can never be topped... But if you meet the right group you may have new memories to rival any past.

Ahh, that's why I keep getting weird looks and getting questioned by the cops...

I haven't played for awhile now, but that will change soon. Awaiting parts to get my stuff in shape to play like new goggle lens. Don't want to take that chance after having those same lens for over 10 years now.

Anyways I played for the adrenaline rush and pulling off crazy moves for the win and crazy stories afterwards. I play for the camaraderie. I enjoy taking the new rental players under my wing and teach them and even let them use my classic automag. I play to have fun. If I'm not having fun, I'm done for the day. That was only once.

As a kid, we played BB gun warfare in the woods. I found paintball later on (obviously) and enjoyed the hell out of it. Not just from a hanging out with your buds perspective, but I find hunting other humans that are hunting me to be a rush. To scale it down to something managable I play speedball now. I'm no good any more, but really enjoy being able to take out my work week and other aggression shooting folks that can come up and talk to me afterwards. I think in a certain way I also enjoy the flagellation when you screw up too. Nothing like a quick lesson.

Playing Paintball

Got turned onto the sport back in '84. Still playing and 61 years old. I like the thrill of the hunt.

I play because it is a great adrenaline rush. I usually meet pretty fun people too.
