per capita Canadian paintball

Are their more per capita paintballers in Canada than in the states? It sure seems that way from the forums and social media sites. If there are, any theories on why?

I don't know about per capita but I think within canada there might be more of a general interest in paintball. And probably because there's more open space.

the videos of fields and events I've seen in Canada are pretty impressive compared to what we have here locally.

Interesting Question...

35 million people in Canada. 300+ people in the US. So a Per Capita argument could be very plausible...but without numbers it would be hard to tell for sure.

Canada gets a HUGE amount of US pop culture stuff including the (sometimes confusing to us) gun culture, but our gun laws are much more restrictive...this includes Airsoft as well...

Maybe because Many Canadians never get to see/use/collect/shoot real fire arms they try paintball as the next closest thing?

I bet people inside the paintball industry know the answer to this question. How much product do they ship to canada vs. the us. Is it a higher ratio than 35/300? Any industry people want to answer...?

Just saying the Canadian stuff is more entertaining TO ME personally lol.

Paintball of any kind is going to be entertaining, but I'm a bit more drawn to watching people play CQB in B.C., and Flagraiders looks like an AWESOME field to play at.

Flagraiders is amazing. Heck Patar if you ever come up to Southern Ontario you should try and make it out for Canadian Carnage at Adrenaline. Viper says he wants to make it Canada's LL we had I think 750-800 players last year in attedance and this summer Viper is aiming to break 1000 at least that's what he told me when I talked to him on facebook

Wasaga Beach?

Carnage pulled over 800 people, I know there was more than 400 people per side

I know on my "auction site" (the name has been filtered here at MCB for your protection), easily half my shipments go to Canada, I know all the providences by heart at this point LOL

Not sure of exact numbers, but there is a pretty huge amount of paintball being played in Canada right now

Oh, bud believe me....

When my friend first offered to take me to paintball before I ever got into it, I was watching a lot of videos. Spent like a day just oogling at Flagraiders videos. It really is like my dream field. One day! One day
