That's a load of BS, they are are taking the current Fibur and making a thread adapter for it. That should not be costing them an arm and a leg. Hell, they own the CF barrel market currently with the Null and Fibur. No reason to not machine an adapter for Spyder threads.

Hammer7 is pretty popular now, DW should try to grab a share quick before rifled barrels come in spyder threads

Backs are $15 actually.

Like I told p8nt, I sent Colin an email about spyder backs.

I thought that was what Stanchy was doing with tiberius barrels, maybe I'm mistaken. Regardless this is really cool.

Same. The guns that have removable barrels have cocker threads, even my MiniMag has an adapter.

sooo its essentially what i just did with the ccms....

hahaha

its a great idea, im just curious to see how it really works....

because the overall length of the thread dimensions varies from brand to brand
AC is 1.25
A1 is like .5
A5/TPX is like 1

its a cool concept, makes sense, just hope they do ALL threads, dont leave anybody out!

Wouldn't it be as simple as picking a point at which all barrels would be within the actual barrel and making that point the transition? As long as that transition is beyond the longest of thread dimensions and under the point at which the freak insert ends, all that would be necessary is to make those with shorter thread dimensions have a longer "yoke" (whatever this would be called) to meet the transition.

No?

Don't the a5s and TiPXs need that 1" clearance, and the crossover will need like a 2" clearance before the insert if im correct?

So I can put this on a TiPX? Provided I get rid of the shroud or get one milled by SSC?
