M. Carter Brown was the name of the first cow that was ever marked by the original Nelson Marker. The site was named after said cow in memoriam. From the original marking of this particular cow, 2 men went into the woods on a bet to shoot each other with similar markers. The rest is history... and possible some fallacy.

This website was originally called PA!NTBA11 IS AW3SOM3!1!!!!1!!1!!11! Then some prick named M. Carter Brown came here, hacked it, changed the name and put a lock so nobody could change it. He also snuck into the owner's house and set a booby trap so that he couldn't just open up a whole new domain. The owner barely survived it, the first time he tried to change it. Then, M. Carter Brown fell down a well, that turned out to be a mineshaft. Coincidentally, that mine was scheduled for a dynamite excavation that day. They used over 500lbs of TNT. Some say ol' Mr. Brown is long dead. Vaporized in that big-*** ka-blooie. I call Bull-Schnikey. I think he's out there, somewhere. Regaining energy. Preparing himself for another attack.
