Started at 17, currently 25.

I'd have to agree with the sentiments that it's easier to play as you get older since you become more financially stable and wise (I actually had the financials back then...but mismanaged all my money).

Started at 14, on and off till about 18, started playing tournaments on and off at 19, now I play tournaments regularly. I'm going to be 24 in September.

started when i was 16, took a break when i was 21 and I'm starting back up now at 25.

I started at 20, I am now 47. I've always used pistols only, my preference for the .50 cal 3357 pushed me to avoid FPO with outllaw play for a long time except the occasional visit to HS. In 01 68cal pistols started appearing and I rejoined the paintball world.
I'm lucky enough to live near Hell Survivors, playing all pistol at their big games is a real challenge.
In 05 they started using neck ID tags with barcodes. I've lost a few tags and missed one big game since but here's my pistol big games and tourneys since 2005(we call it Hell Survivors Solitaire!):

I love it as much today as ever!
I would say I'm a much better player now.

Started in the late 80's and still playing at the good old age of 50

First game was a Monster Game too.
Like agentSmith I play the same field. I miss the 24 hour games.

I started in 6th grade, about 11 years old. At the end of 8th grade I started playing pistol. I'm currently 14 in ninth grade, hoping to keep balling for a looooong time.

Started when I was 16 and am now 35. Took a 10 year break to play in a rock band. Got an exwife and a kid outta it. Back to balling. Maybe its just my being a dad nature but when I was 17 I bought the highest end stuff made with my fast food job, and now I buy the highest end stuff made 10 years ago. Guess I'm collecting the good stuff from when I quit.
