The design (solid but a bit crude) means you need quite a tasty bow to hit 300fps, but even at around 60LB the compound mech is a big help once at full draw. Once you master the technique they can be spookily accurate; it's more about shooting like a bow and forgetting the gun is there than looking down the barrel etc. I just concentrate on a consistent draw, hold and release and keeping the 'arrow' (piston rod) centered in the tube and then shoot looking at the target, practice is helping until my arm drops off

The stick feed bolts on to the top of a hole that is an...interesting shape, I need to get hold of some FS rounds but I think it may be possible with slight to no modification...

When I saw the title I thought this thread was going to be about involuntary bowel movements.

And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, "Hey, don't worry, don't be afraid ever, because this is just a ride." And we ... kill those people." - William Melvin Hicks

I've found a simple leather tab makes a lot of difference but yes, I am going to the local shop to have a look at some of those soon.

I've always wanted to try one of those. What kind of a price do these go for in the used market? I love finding different ways to play the game, I'm slowly but surely straying away from a traditional speedball hopper setup.
