Sockhats

Any other love for the sockhat? I have used them quite often unless it is way to hot out. I love them but was really looking to get some made, I highly doubt there is a place I can purchase some blank ones but just curious if anyone knows.

No idea where but would be really happy to hop on that wagon.

Sew a rectangle of fabric along the long side. Boom, blank sockhat.

go to etsy.com and search "sock hat"

That's where I'm picking this up from. Same basic pattern as a sock hat, so no, you're not alone in the love.

I have two of the old jt ones. One black, one olive. Love 'em as well!

how they haven't gained in popularity amazes me but I would kill to have a custom embroidered one for me...

I wear Buffs like sock hats. Not as long or thick (unless you get the fleece ones), but similar.

Any sock hats for sale or trade?

I've seen the old jt ones go for $50-$75.

The magic of the sock hat is in the bounces. A thick sock hat with a long sock seems to bounce everything that hits it. I took a 3 shot burst to the back of the head within 30 feet and all 3 bounced! My jt sock hat has saved me many, many times. I wear it in all but the hottest temperatures.
