My flex's work the best so far. When I add the fan it adds to much weight to the mask and covers up holes which makes fogging more likely. I also learned to breath down instead of up into the mask. Also try cat crap on your glasses.

Well since spectra lenses are used in the flex 8s I will add my .02. I have used the following masks with glasses. Spectras Morphs I3 E-vents The morphs fit relatively well and had some fogging issues both on my glasses and the mask lense. That being said they were very comfortable and the fogging didnt happen a lot. The I3 was terrible. I have somewhat small framed glasses and still they hit the lense of the mask and jammed into my bridge. On top of that they fogged like crazy as well as my glasses, the mask had the thermal lense in them as well. The I3s for me at least gave me tunnel vision and felt like they were more suited for speedball where your opponent is 95 percent of the time going to be straight ahead of you. The E-vents were alright. They didnt jam my glasses back into my nose as much as the I3s did but were still a little on the uncomfortable side if worn for more then 10 minutes. But again the fogging issue was maddening with this mask. I was under the impression that the Events were supposed to exhaust air better than anything else and I was mistaken. I even put a fan in it from my retired spectra, but that was to provide no relief either except to extend the amount of time it took to fog over. Now my spectras. The original reason I retired them was that I had had the same mask for 5 years and before that I had an original pair of spectras from when they first came out. In both cases I had retired the masks from wear and tear of extended use and foam rot. After my stint with the other masks I decided to find a new goggle strap and lense retainer. I actually ended up with a free new set from another forum member. All I had to do was tare down my old mask and rebuild it with the new lense , strap, and retainer. I can say that I have never been happier in going back to my spectra again. I will be honest and say that the spectra does have fogging issues but they are minor and mush less so than the competition. After installing the fan I have no more worries about fogging on the field. The fit of my glasses is no issue with the spectra either. I would and do recomend that people take a look at them. Especially if you have glasses

This is one of the reasons I decided to try contacts. Yeah I know it's silly but was tired of wearing glasses any way, I have bad astigmatism in my right eye and need byfocals for the left eye. so it's cheaper to buy the contacts, lol. My old brass eagle mask works with the profiler lens so I had no problems with fitting over glasses was just tired of the fogging. edm

Since I went to the V-Force Profiler I havent had any problems with my glasses not fitting, or coming off when I take the mask off. And strangely I havent had a problem with fogging either. So I havent bothered with a fan, though a fan would be nice for the sweat that the Florida weather causes. |

I have Flex 8's and Pro-Flex gogs. The mask shape on the 8's feel more tapered to me, but that in no way negatively changes how the goggle package works for me (with glasses). Both work great. I don't suffer from fogging issues, nor does that mask move my glasses around. They stay snug and tight. Peripherally I do notice the edges of my lenses for my glasses so I do get a slight "double frame" POV with the glasses providing the first frame and the goggle frame the 2nd. But that's the price I pay for playing in glasses and not contacts. But just speaking in terms of the JT frames, they do provide a wide enough viewing area that peripheral vision is not a problem at all. I used to have some issues with my old JT Snapper Elite gogs and "coke can" style glasses frames where the goggle frame would come in contact with my glasses and move them around and also fogging. But with smaller frames and modern JT equipment, everything is A-OK. Here's what my current glasses look like: |

Cat crap never worked well for me, MadCat had some and let me try it out. Wasnt really impressed on my glasses, tehy still fogged. I still suggest vents, they are close enough to the face to try the cheek weld thing on a kp if you like.
