About this time, two years ago, I was working on a single trigger conversion process for most guns.

But I wasn't confident about the marketable interest and stopped development.

Personally, the main thing that is stopping me from buying a new electro (I finally snagged a Tribal with single frame) is the double trigger. A single trigger Etha, Etek, or Axe would probably be the ultimate recball gun.

I think the biggest hurdle will be dealing with the "that's how they are" argument.

If there was an elegant customization solution at the 100 dollar price point, would you buy it?

To me, it seems like an abomination that came into existance to get around the tournament rule of 'semi-auto only'. On the recball field, double finger triggers have caused more problems than solved.

I certainly would.

That is exactly what happened. It doesn't seem to fit with contemporary paintball.

Some local guys dremel the triggers down on their electros to make them single. You only have to pull the trigger four times/second to initiate ramping.

On my Mini, no problem. On a gun with any kind of weight in the trigger pull, I like three fingers holding the grip steady. Even with the Mini I find myself laying my index finger along the body and just tapping the trigger with my middle finger.

Personally, even though I play PSP, I still play semi capped for the rules (more because of my own beliefs than anything else) and when I play with a mech I find it easier to get into a rhythm with two fingers than with one.
