One of our Sponsors - Skyline Nation Paintball is a true woodsball location. 1000's of acre's of varied woodlands, mountains (well....very large hills lol), streams, a few structures in one field, but the rest is pretty much deadfall, a few handmade bunkers. Basically you follow deer/bear/cougar trails and have a blast! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Maybe a little spoiled here?

This is exactly what I want. My dad talking about the old days when he had the nelspots and PGP pistols trekking through the Canadian forests and wading through lakes to find the enemy teams flag got me all riled up on the thought of playing like that. And then I realized we can never play like that where I live because the fields are less than a football field long (which I now realize is about an acre), players cheat, and games go too fast. |

Yeah, one game will last 4hrs, take a lunch break, and then another 4hrs lol....then night games...morning games. I can't wait for the next weekend long game!

I've never waded through a lake but I've crossed a few streams and maybe gotten slightly stuck in a swamp. Still lots of real woodsball up here but it isn't all it's cracked up to be if you don't have enough players your exciting game of paintball turns into a nature walk.

That is definitely how I started and so miss the big fields were you could actually miss people for being so wide. We play outlaw now but at our place you can see from one end to the other.

Thanks! Yeah, I used 400 paintballs yesterday, we played from 9:00am until around 12:00. Got about 10 games in, and a bunch of civil war games. One tank of Co2. So I had about $12 in costs for the day! We have over 30 acres of woods, (50 acres total) and our neighbors wouldn't care if we used their 50+ acres of woods if we wanted too. But, the 10 acres we play on is plenty as we never have gotten bored with it yet. So many hiding places and ways to go, and you have to cross at least one creek to get from one camp to the other. I'm thinking of building a sniper shack for next year... | |
