Podpacks...

I need a new one, mine is wearing out after like 5 seasons...

I've been using the Empire Fast Pack.... and LOVE it

Now they are near impossible to find for sale, and if they are for sale, they are only Small/Mediums (im a L/XL 34" Waist)

I love the fact that its just elastic bands, no ejector sleeves or anything fancy

I wear 1 pod when im playin pump (usually dont use it... but still wear it)
and 2-3 pods when im playin semi (usually use 1 lol)

I use all sizes of pods... 100's or 140's sometimes even 50's and the empire lets me

I dont need a giant 12+9+7
I dont want ejectors

What do you guys recommend?
What do you guys wear?

Valken makes amazing packs. I have a valken tron 3+4 and it works great.

Edit: maybe I should read the whole thread before posting. Didn't see that you don't want ejectors.

Personally I can't find a single new pod pack I like haha. So many are using that hard plastic to mold around the pod, which I feel is going to crack really easily, we had three packs from differnt manufacturers with those broken over the last couple months. The Dye packs are nice, but next to impossible to put a pod back in during the game.

The newer eclipse packs look pretty nice, haven't gotten to check them out in person though.

I buy NXe 3+2 Elevation harnesses when they go on sale, usually 3-4 years down the road. They have ejectors but fit whatever pods I need to use. And they are cheap.

the pbrack/uprising paintball guys are local to me...

i really wanna get my hands on the new jetpack...
its got a better profile even though it has ejectors... it looks all cloth unlike the preformed packs....

You said no ejectors. But these days its all ejectors.
I have also been super super happy with my valken tron 3 pack.
Very comfy, small, and not too expensive.

I'll second the NXe packs. They are pricey though.

Just get another Empire. I'm pretty sure they still have one with just elastic loops.

How much paint do you guys bring onto the field in a 5-5 tourney? I feel like a lt of these packs don't have enough pod space
