A First. Live Stream of a GoPro to a Youtube Channel

I am sure this is a historical first. I just streamed my GoPro to my Youtube Channel LIVE! Wirelessly

I have some things to work out - as you can see from the video...but my goal was to use normal hardware and keep the cost down so anyone can do it.

I will post a tutorial by friday so you can do this as well!

Check out my saved file on my Channel.

I can't watch the video now but, which gopro and/or acessories did you use? I speculate that the wifi backpack could support something like this.

Pretty sweet. I would love to see live streams during PSP broadcasts, or even live streams of Living Legends. Would be awesome at fields for parents to see what their kids are doing, especially from the kid's perspective.

Great job G....glad you were able to get this going. Can't wait to see the instructional and get my gear setup for similar :) Some great potential there and I would bet that not just uploading to Youtube but other avenues may also be possible as well, and if trying to go more local, as in just streaming to local server or video control units you may eliminate some of the delay and audio issues as well....

All in all great job and thank you for doing the tech check there.

This opens the door for some cool applications. Live streaming helmetcam in game footage. Recball, big game/scenario, PSP, whatever. Nice job.

Seriously, that is true. It's one thing to have a pair of guys with a radio camped out near an opponent's base. It's quite another to be live streaming it back to your own. As long as it was legal, oh the possibilities...

True that...specially if you could work out something similar with an even smaller camera rig....simply get close enough....and drop a little spy camera in there :)
