Gloves...

Ok, so I've been wearing the same pair of gloves since I started playing paintball, and they are diablo something, speedball gloves in black, and they have white on them... Not the best for hiding in the woods.

I've been looking for a good set of winter camo gloves with the padding on the back to protect my knuckles, and enough finger movement that I don't feel restricted...

I melted the tips off of mine trying to warm my hands over the fire between games last year. So I really need a new pair, but finding a pair of camo gloves for paintball has been ridiculously hard... Does anyone have any gloves they recommend?

Many of the players at my field have the same problems, we can find gloves that work, but they are usually brightly colored, and when a guy is sneaking up to you with RED gloves, they stick out like crazy.

I figured someone here would know a good source for gloves that would work well for our sport?

Mecanix mpacts

Originally designed for military use but then made for work gloves. Built tough. Come in all kinds of designs including camo.

Mountain biking gloves have worked just fine for me when the cold rolls in. Also very grippy and lowest profile I've ever had.

Paintball gloves suck. I am done with them and will be picking up a set of Mechanix gloves soon.

my first pair were diablo gloves as well. used them so much the palms had holes.

don't like any current ones. went to motocross/bike store and bought a pair of fox gloves instead "dirtpaw." had bits of white, but they had a "polarpaw" that's greyed out that costs a little more.

i swear it's the same **** as paintball gloves, except not overpriced. i only bought the diablos because they were $19.

I've been using a pair of Valken full-fingered gloves since 2010, but I've looked into getting a pair of Mechanix gloves, especially in coyote tan.
Trouble is, they're just not as comfortable, and there doesn't seem to be a happy medium between the unarmored Mechanix and the overly-bulky M-pact with its padded palms.

This. These are what I use, and I love them:

They also come in woodland:

Hunting gloves may be an option also. They likely wont have any extra padding but have lots of camo paterns available. I might go to the camo mechanix my self though for big games but will need to cut off the right hand thumb, pointer and middle fingers so I can breech load first strikes. Wish they came in marpat...

A buddy of mine swears by his pair of Oakley Tactical Gloves, with carbon fiber knuckles.

I tried using a pair of Fox Racing gloves I have for biking that are similar, but I didn't like the feel for paintball. I ended up switching over to a pair of wristbands like these. They provide enough coverage for my liking without sacrificing much mobility.

Now I wouldn't say they suck. Their are so many different brands out their that some cheaper models will suck, other's not so much.

Valkens aren't bad, customers of mine seem very happy with them, APPs as well, don't bleed either.

But to each their own.

My XL APP full fingers have lasted me 7 years now and are just now starting to give out.
