I am a collector disguised as a hoarder, or is that a hoarder that calls himself a collector to feel better. How about a collector that has hoarding tendencies.

A potential future seller, there that's me.
I lean for Sheridan/Sheridan based guns and older Tippmanns. But I seem to have a few Nelsons as well.

I used to horde many different brands/types of markers. I think that recently I have come to the realization that the only ones I really enjoy are cockers, so that's what I'm going to focus on from here on out. I began selling some of my other markers recently to fund my SPE trip and school.
I already have a few nice examples of aftermarket markers without going too crazy on prices. Most of them have been assembled from bodies purchased from different locations/forums.

Tell me why I had to be a powerslave.
I don't wanna die, I'm a god, why can't I live on?
When the Life Giver dies, all around is laid waste.
And in my last hour,
I'm a slave to the power of death.

For me, it's all about finding stuff I don't already have.

Fancy electro? Got one, don't need another.
Cocker? Got one I like, don't need another.
Open class pump? Got a nelson I like, got a sheridan I like. Check.
and so on.

But show me something I don't have, well then it's no longer if I want it, no now I "NEED" it.

I hoard parts. I have lots of parts for guns that I don't own, but can't get rid of them because I may eventually get one.

I always looked at collecting as having a group of similar things you took pride in, displayed, had knowledge pertaining to and discussed. When you simply have or buy them and find you don't really care or take an active interest in them, that is hoarding. When I started to dance around that line, it was time to start moving on.

I would like to say I am a collector with a little bit of hoarding thrown in. I have always liked nerves and have 6 but I keep thinking I really only use 1 the others just hang on the wall in their glory. I also seam to collect ions they are cheap but I do have 2 that (I think) are pretty rare. recently though I have had a real itch for cockers pump and mech. even a couple spyders have made their way into the hoard ..... I mean collection.
