This is part of why I love MCB. I post a thread seeking information and the guy who drew the picture shows up.

Do you remember in which issue it was published?

No, my mom has the magazine stored somewhere in her home in Tennessee and she doesn't know where it is, lol. I can tell you they only used part of it as there was 3 guys in the picture originally, like they were in a patrol formation. It being a patch I can understand why they cropped it, lol.

However, next time I go to my bosses house, he has almost every issue of every paintball magazine ever made, I will look for it there, but that may not be until next week sometime.

More info;

19 - Failsafe

This was a team of mostly Jersey people that was based out of Wolf's Lair. They were the National, or East Coast, or something like that Laser Tag champions before switching to paintball. Eventually merged with the Psycho Bunnies from Hell.

Just adding a little info the DamoNAN left out.

#6 Outdoor Adventures was located in Bowie,MD. It was one of... If not, the best paintball field on the east coast.(I might be a bit bias) Unfortunately, after about 20yrs in that location. It was closed down in 2009ish(IIRC).

#11 if what DamoNAN says is true. The OA most likely stands for Outdoor Adventures

Yes, OA stands for Outdoor Adventures and it was located in Bowie, Md. It was an awesome field before the county land developers and the land owners kids sold off part of it for the development of the Bowie Bay Sox stadium. OA lost the river field and the pines field on the right side due to property lines. I played there, reffed there and in 1994 attended my very first national tournament there, the 94 DC Cup. Lots of memories there.

Do you know who won the '94 DC Cup?

The first national tournament to allow 12 gram and constant air is held in Nashville. The tournament, called the Music City Open, is also the first national tournament to allow carry-on paint and the first major event to be sanctioned by the I.P.P.A.

Won by the Ironmen in the 10 men format

Hope that helps...

CCM sends patches when you order a new marker.
