Old markers fixed up into Specialized guns!

So recently I’ve been keeping busy fixing up friends old guns and such.

In the process, I snagged some new –old markers to make into ‘specialty markers’ since I already have my main setup (Autococker + Tipx).

First, I took 2 non-working spyders, and cannibalized them into 1 working gun I made into a pistol!
I have had that grip forever, glad to see it finally getting some good use in a pet project! She shoots nicely, and gets ~25 shots / 12 gram. Can’t wait to try ‘dual pistols’ with this and my TPX next time out!

Next up, took an old pro-carbine and made her into a ‘sniper gun’ for the heck of it. Its got a J&J 14” barrel with a variable zoom 2-9x scope, along with a hefty drop forward to make it less cumbersome. I figure I’ll set the sight at 100-110 ft, as I normally don’t engage until 50-70 feet. At that distance, balls should still be fairly accurate, and I’ll actually get some use out of the scope.

I think these two new-old markers will surely change up the game for me next time I’m at the field!

Well done, sir!

We sometimes have a parade for such things...

The Steaming Pile of Poo.

The Second Pile of Poo (build-off)

We may need to tweak the categories and/or voting a bit, but the show itself is all good. Hopefully we will see another such parade this year.

I threw it together from parts I already had laying around... But if I did want to sink a few more dollars into the pistol... Where would I go about getting such items?

And anyone have any links to blogs or other sites with further examples or instructions?
