Valken Proton

I have held the Valken Proton and that's about it. What's the review on them? I like the look of them and would like to know what people think of them.

I believe there is a review on one in the MCB Reviews It sub-forum. From everything I've read, they appear to be a great little shooter.

From what I hear and understand, It's just an improved mokal aura. I think they don't get as much attention as they deserve, they seem to be great markers.

Not bad for its price point.

Shoots similar to a geo 1. Board software I feel needs work. But other than that not bad for the price point

I've never used a Mini beyond handling one in the staging area, but I will say the fit/finish and overall machining quality of the Proton is leaps and bounds better. My Proton has been great to me so far, lightweight and small profile without being "too" small, IMO.

Go to a store and handle both and see which one fits you better. I mean, I'd vote Proton but I am, admittedly, a little biased.

I have a Mini that I absolutely love but I'm looking for another gun in that price range for my gf to use, to loan out when needed, and so I have something to change things up a little.

So to those that have used both, Mini or Proton?

My mini was a little small for me, but I did love it, not gonna lie. Never held a proton, though certainly thought about picking up an aura, and then thought about picking up the proton when valken bought it.
