I fail to see the point in comparing a loader that came out years ago that is good for around 8-10bps to a modern loader good for 30+bps.

It could just be a commentary on how paintball technology has advanced over the years.

...or it could just be for lulz.

if it was for the lulz, he would also have done a drop test with an A-5 hopper :P

I figured the rotor would jam and the revy would win out as your pulling the rotors antijam finger. But that reminded me of the old drop tests when the halo came out and eyes were not installed on every electro yet

I'd like to see a drop-test comparing the old VL Revvy with the new JT Revvy. Can't imagine what the difference would be, but good excuse to make a video.

hmm, a forcefeed loader being faster than an agitated gravity feed hopper? this is news to me. someone should post this around the interwebs so that people can replace their revyes with something newer...

seriously, what's the point of the vid?

not sure why all the negativity. It's not like he's bashing the revy. Just cool to see then and now.

It seems the revy started feeding faster and more consistently for the last 100 rounds. I guess the paint is packed in too tight for the propeller to operate at its best when the hopper is nearly full.

you just need to add a 9volt evolution 2000 to the mix. about half the speed of the revy. At least that's about what I got when I did a drop test with a halo b, 12volt xboard revy, vl 2000 9v. Halo ran about 20bps, revy about 10-12, vl2000 about 5 or 6?
