Paint so small it wont trip eyes...

So coming back from playing today, and having nothing but marker issues, i realized that the paint was so small it wouldn't trip the eyes on my Dp f7. So id figure id see how many of you guys have had this problem, and if you have any ideas of how to deal with this, other than buy bigger paint. lol luckily my pump cocker shot okay with it, but still frustrating. Thanks

The eyes are usually at the bottom of the breach, are you sure you're not having an eye malfunction?

Are you sure it isn't a roll back issue? See if you can adjust your ram forward to fix it.

Nope, eyes are working fine, the ball is sitting just behind the eye holes. I think your right nofx, i dont see any way to adjust it though.

You could try shimming the ram forward thus making the bolt closer to the detents

Or turn off the eyes

I recall a thread a few months ago where the prevailing opinion was that eyes are unnecessary with a good force feed hopper. Test that theory out.

Pretty much what i ended up doing, had other issues with the gun to, so overall was just a crappy day... Ill have to see about shimming the ram, shouldn't take a whole lot to make it work..
