There are good people out there!!

Either that, or I just had a HUGE karmic debt repaid!! I'm at Living Legends 6 this weekend, staying at a Hotel. Last night, everyone was getting their gear ready for today, and I went to get my camera out of the bag to charge the battery. No bag. I tore the room apart, then my car. At a point near tears, I was ready to pack and head home, I went to the front desk. I inquired, hoping against all odds that someone had turned my bag in. Whaddya know!!!! Someone had found my bag sitting in the middle of the parking lot and turned it in. Over 4K worth of camera gear, and someone turns it in. Thank you to whoever did that.
I finally decided to start a thread for my Feedback:

Rocking it for the Fringe Division!

You dont have to cover it up. We know you were really worried about the donkey porn you had not deleted off of it yet.

That is encouraging. I had difficulty convincing a 13 year old that it was honorable to return an 8GB flash drive with someones family photos and school essays.

I like when someone does the right thing.

There are good people, there are also well off people.

Either a good person, or a well off person found your bag and your very lucky for it!

(Or a hotel employee, who often return items for fear of being held responsible).

I've always found paintball draws the extremes, the very best and the worst. I'd say there was some karma involved with having the former find your bag .

well off people arent to only people that dont steal.

some people recognize, and respect stuff like that. yu find a bag full of photo equipment either;
a) a pro lost his gear and is now going to be out of work.
b) someone with an expensive hobby, just got screwed hard.

either way, that not like finding a couple hundred bucks on the ground, the monetary worth has nothing to do with it.

glad to hear you got it back, ive had similar things happen. the walk to the front desk 'noone would return that, im better off checking a pawn shop' just keeps running through your head.

Glad it worked out.
"The world is like a ride at an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it, you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it's very brightly colored and it's very loud and it's fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question: Is this real, or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, "Hey, don't worry, don't be afraid ever, because this is just a ride." And we ... kill those people." - William Melvin Hicks
