looking for freestanding gun rack/display ideas

My wife and I will be moving to a bigger space this summer and now I get to have an "office." Really it will be a way to split up my paintball gear and my shop so I can keep things cleaner. We're going to be fixing up the place an repainting pretty much the whole house so I don't want to mount anything to the walls. So I'm looking for a sharp looking freestanding display rack for paintball markers/items.

I like the metal racking they used in Boondock Saints 2 but in a smaller version. That or a cool metal/peg board combo deal. In the long run it really just needs to be clean looking and layout adjustable. I'm pretty handy so if anyone had a cool homemade design show it off.

i have 2 different methods i use.

#1 Gridwall

you can mount the gridwall to the wall via fancy hooks
you can make it free standing
you can build it however you want

here is how i had it setup at Supergame last month

here is mine in my old room (without wall mounts, just wedged between dresser and wall, kinda wobbly)

and here is option #2

individual display stands

super sturdy
very adjustable (360* on 2 separate axis)

Old picture now. But I have a 7ft tall hutch (China cabnet) that I use for my guns. It also has a cabinet at the bottom which is good for parts/tank/etc

i had to super zoom into the pic to see how they did it, made mine with 2 unions, and a piece of 4" channel

just be sure to use a brass 1/2" pipe nipple goin into the asa

they make em in a few different sizes

2 foot wide x 5/6/7/8 foot tall

i think they were like $25 panel, hooks are like 0.20 ea too

i got mine from Portland Store Fixtures, i know they ship... but i have no idea what kind of shipping rate those have (i picked mine up locally a couple years ago)
