Smart Parts / Renegade Jerseys still being produced under new name - look!

So, I just stumbled across a few Ebay listings for some jerseys that look awfully familiar to an old school player...looks to me like Renegade is now Kohn Sports and even the fabric says Renegade on the patterns, so I know I am on the right path...check it out!

Let me know your thoughts>

Kohn bought all the renegade fabric a while back. There was a thread about it in the News section that was like 30 pages long.

Not the same at all...

The moderned them up ALOT. I have a pair they are "ok" but not the same at all.

The put mesh on the sides I personally don't like that at all.

What's the timeline here?

My old Renegade gear is all marked "Renegade Action Sports" from Indiana, PA... I was under the impression the name changed to "RASE" when Smart Parts took over, and from there forward the tags read Loyalhanna, PA. Granted some of my later knee pads say "Renegade" in the foam but the tags say "RASE" too.

I just don't remember jerseys like that one coming out under the Renegade name.

so that's the story behind my worn-for-one-outing tacky RASE pants. Good to know.

Just couldn't get over "zip zip zip" every time I ran somewhere. Made more noise than my feet hitting the ground.

The old ones were only in "real" camouflage patterns, but they were nice material, good stitching too.

I had RASE pants, tank cover, and gun bag. Not bad, but very plain quality with sloppy stitching.

The Renegade gear with labels showing Indiana PA is some of the later gear, after the company moved to the US to hook up with Smart Parts. Anything shown as made in America would be from the Smart Parts era. The original camo had 'Made in the UK' labels on. The two owners (Ivan and Tricky) played for our team before they moved to America in 1994, great quality stuff and great guys.

Only recently sold off the last of my Renegade stuff - had a lot of brownleaf Realtree and Foxwood (still my favourite pattern). Really hard wearing, but I find that style of fabric too heavy and hot these days, prefer the light breathable stuff.
