The first game of the day

Usually when I play I find the first few games are rough as I get back into the pace of things. After a set or two I'm back at my normal playing level and state of mind that I start doing pretty well. Also I find these are the games where people gauge the skills of others to base off the rest of the day and as a stock class player being Low priority doesn't hurt. What about you guys? Does it take a while to acclimate yourself or are you on top of your game and target number one for the other team all day?

I would say some days I start off slow like that. Other days the first few games are my best then down hill from there. No particular pattern just kinda happens.

Now that I'm a little older, I don't charge as hard in the first game or two. I just start at a slower pace and warm up.

I would say both of these comments apply to me, and I definitely don't charge as hard now that I'm older and fatter, my running through the woods like a deer on steroids days are done lol.

He nick named the gun Reggie.

Depends what I am playing. If I'm playing speedball i will go as hard as I can the first few games before i start feeling fatigued. If its woodsball I dint think that I have ever truly went all out, I would never run off the break on a woodsball field maybe a light jog if they are really far away.

Even after playing for 17ish years I still get butterflies in my stomach until the first game starts!

My first game is much like my last game - slow & steady. Sloth-like, if you will.

Hmm, may call for an avatar update...

I suck just as bad all day as I do in the morning. Keeps things nice and predictable, keeps expectations low.
