Absolutely! In honor of GSC, you can call it Pioneer Paintball!

Works for me...

Now all I have to do is work out the pricing structure...

It seems that insurance isn't too bad, assuming the online estimate is per year and not per month.

Please do ty. Although it would pain me to have you move another state. Having a field where, (finally) the player is in mind and not paint profits, would be a breath of fresh air.

Profit must exist, but I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement...

Something like $20 to play, BYOP with a $10 discount on a case of paint if you buy it at the field... Though, in all honesty, I would prefer *NOT* to sell paint, except to rental players, as storage, handling etc... are a PITA.

Still trying to figure out a viable business model that doesn't screw the customer or me :/

So be it.
We will play North Mountain on Saturday then Skyline on Sunday.

Thank you all for helping me plan. I figured that MCB would help.

i know its probably a bit late, but if you feel like venturing into maryland (appologies in advance) there are a few decent fields here. my home field is Paintball Adventure Park in Taneytown, md. just the other side of the state line from Gettysburg PA. one of the better fields i have played in this area. cheap entry fee that includes all day air/co2, good quality paint at good prices, generally starting around $35-40 a case and going up to around $60-65 for the high end paint. 4 woodsball fields and i think 2 speedball fields, on-site proshop and food.

the other place near central MD is Paintball Sportsland, not quite as nice as PAP, but generally a fun field, as long as the refs are doing their job... they are less for entry but charge for air. the paintprices are generally pretty good since they buy it from Paintball Wholesalers, aka, PAP. i think they might still be BYOP as well. they have, i think, 4 woods fields, an airball field and an open field with some wood bunkers spread around. the only real issue with this field is the hill you have to go up and down to get to and from the staging areas, lol.

there is also Passadina Paintball Park, p3, out in passadina. ive been there once for a scenario game. very wooded fields next to the bay. wasnt a bad place, but i cant really comment too much since ive only been there once. lol

there area few other fields on the eastern side of the state that people have told be about, but i havent been out to them yet..

if you find yourself near Frederick md, hit me up, i could use an excuse to hit the field again, lol.

My home field used to be "be the hunted" in Cumberland MD till it went under and I moved on to skyline and north mnt.

Paintball is dead in my state. The only decent field I knew of closed last year and moved to a location that only caters to rental people. The only field in Morgantown closed too. You best bet is finding a field in Charleston (whiles its open, it will probably be closed in a year). The eastern panhandle might actually have a few fields, I forget about that parts of WV most of the time lol.

Played Skyline Sunday... small numbers of "A" players...a group of 6 "B" players were game to go and I think they had a good time.

Had 2 with me on a ridge and watched them get picked off one at a time by Halo... that FN is so quiet, I wouldn't have had a chance to shoot Halo if he wouldn't have talked to some kid behind him.
