Question What material do want your gun and accessories to be made of ?

For:

Light wieght

Durability

Final finish I.E:

Anodizing

Painting

Etc. ?

Durasteel like the windows on the ships in Star Wars. It's completely clear and will withstand a Mynock sucking on it.

I'm a big fan of stainless steel for the durability, but there really isn't much wrong with aluminum.

Aluminum all the way. I like brass, but for finish, durability, and weight, nothing beats aluminum guns. Brass is heavy, is hard to finish well in a variety of colors, and can tarnish easily.

aluminum is so far the best material to make paintball guns out of. light, hard enough to take abuse but easy to work on.
