It was my personal forum / space for other projects when I used to code a lot. That project got too big and ended up on its own site. I took the empty space and put up some paintball stuff.

One thing let to another, and well, here we are.

If I knew it was going to be such a popular place, I would have picked a paintball related name.

So no, I don't have a paintball place named after myself because I have a huge head. It's named after me because paintball people showed up to my personal page and never left.

man - don't listen to all that noise - the truth is tied an old Cold War project (declassified) involving (M)ind (C)control experimentation - where the super powers tried to form super soldiers from couch potatoes and antiquated relics using only the power of suggestion, J-B Weld, brass polish, and duct tape.

The project was scrapped in the early 90s.

It is believed that this forum is all that remains of the test subjects.

"Paintballnation.com" and "PBNation.com" were already taken when the founder, Jonathan Meyers Gengelhoffer, tried to register them. It turns out that porn sites had taken just about every other domain, so he had to settle for this.

I coulda sworn the "M" was a reference to his fishing skills. Wasn't he called the "Master-Baiter"?
