had a moment like this at Lowe's once
I was wearing a planet eclipse cap and had my dye lanyard around my neck
one of the workers asked if I needed anything and after I turned around he just blurts out Oh, do you play paintball?
Lol, yeah lead to a short conversation too
I guess it's how the brotherhood of this game is

Something like that happened while I was proctoring a final exam a few years ago (biology TA while in grad school). I was wearing my Bandit shirt from The Whiteboard, and a student in the front row noticed. He ended up making a few games, and he was good. Ended up joining here, as well. Bio, where you been?

I was playing a golf scramble one time and there was a spotter on the 10th tee box for a closest to the pin contest. He was wearing a hat that appeared to have the Macdev Cyborg logo on it. Before it was my group's turn I asked him about it and he didn't have a clue what a Cyborg was. I asked him about his hat and he told me that it was from a clothing/sunglass company. As my 4 year old would say; akwuuurd.

Not related to paintball, but i wear this hat.... A LOT...
And its sooo awesome when someone actually recognizes it...
...or the reaction of the driver behind me when he sees
in my rear window.
Makes my heart smile.

I thought this thread was going to be about people who look for some obscure item in the extreme background of a photo, and then post completely off topic (and the subject of the photo) to indicate that they observed said item.
I am disappoint.
