Sidewinder or 2 Liter. The only reason I would pick the Sidewinder over the 2 Liter is the elbow location.

Most HPA tank regs have a ratio of 1/50, even the lowest secondary reg is 1/35, giving a total ratio of 1/1750. As long as it works and doesn't creep or stick, most regs should work fine. Based on specs alone, since I've never owned a reg that didn't perform any better or worse than the others I own, I'd say PPS Fatty or AKA 2L. The Fatty has a 1/92 ratio and the 2L has an infinite ratio, as input pressure has no effect on output.

Well the thing is I have close to 4 hyper 2s, and they just aren't that consistent. Even with a freak kit I'm at +/- 7.

I wouldn't be so quick to assume it's the regs.
If you are having the same problem with all 4 of the regs, it is probably your paint or your marker needs work.

I guess I've never replaced the piston seat. Give that a shot.

I have a couple of hyper 2 regs and they are stupid consistent. I put an electronic calibrated pressure tester on mine and I was seeing +/- 2 psi with mine. As far as the best flowing for high volume fire goes, the bob long 360 reg has been my favorite. I ran a double ion off of one and it wasn't starving them at 12.5 bps ramping.
