AKA 2 liter is the best, and most expensive. I use it on my testing manifold that I use to test my LPR's. One of my pnumatic assembly machines at my shop requires an incredibly high flow rate and is very picky about presure flucuations. While I waitied for the replacement regulator to come in, I tossed one of my 2liters on there to see how it opperated. Ran flawlessly, with incredible recharge rates.
If you don't want to spend $85 on a new ($75 used) reg, I like: AKA Sidewinder, Bob long Torpedo, and CP's regs.
-Sidewinders are great, and look good on almost any gun. SOme people have issues with them. They were designed to run with oil, not grease like all other regs.
-Bob long torpedo regs have run great for me and easy to find.
-CP regs have run good on my mechanical guns. Used ones can be had for under $30. MY only issues is they don't look good on some guns (looks like a tampon).
Most all high end guns factory regs are great regs and do not need to be changed. PE, MacDev, Dye. I have had issues with CCM regs recharge rates. At high rates of fire (12ish), I have had drop off. IMO they are great for pumps and mechs, but not for anything that needs a fast recharge.
