The macroline is 1/4" tubing. The microline is typically 1/8 or 5/32".

Given the same material and wall thickness, microline is always stronger then macroline. But obviously the macroline has better flow characteristics, but this only affects low pressure applications.

LP-tubing is often confused with microline on less noble forums.

I've only used microline once...that line burst on a phantom. Never used it again and haven't had any line issues again.

Microline I've used was 1/8 or so OD, 6/6 nylon like macro, with similar sharkbite fittings, 1/8 npt as well. Should have no problem operating at same pressures.. if someone blew microline, it was with co2 (which can blow macroline too, happens often with 3.5oz tanks on a warm day)

The first link in that "google post" is a thread saying that microline is LP tubing.
I think he came here because he wanted better info then that.

Micro line also optionally came with compression fittings. IIRC macro burst is around 800 psi and micro was closer to 1100. Kapp did make some macro that was closer to 3k burst.

Look for Parker brand line and Norgren fittings. Use both of those and you will have the best stuff possible. ASP sells it and I have bought lots of it from HaveBlue. It never failed me, Co2 or HPA.
