pbmafia 5/50

Hey guys. I've nodded a couple 50rd pods to 40. I am ordering a 5/50 pod pack. Anyone have issues with them falling out of he pack? Love to 10tube leg packs. First time using a 50rd pod.

if you loop the little elastic loops around the little hinge type part at the back of the lid when the pods are hanging upside down in the pack (as like a traditional pack) you'll never have issues with them fallling out. I've been running a 5/50 pack since carnage and it's never let me down.

I've had mine for a while and never had any issues. It is very well made. I run the pods lid down and don't use the little elastic hoops and I haven't lost a pod.

I had problems but the APP pods fit so much better then my others. The APP pods are a bit thicker and have bumps on the side that help. The loops worked about 80% of the time

I run the 50 rnd (i guess they are the APP ones that really hold closer to 60 rnds), but i run mine lid-up. I don't so much worry they'll fall out as get opened.

I have NO trouble getting to them, and the only ones i have ever had come out were when i put a couple in the outside 'elastic' spots and playing in heavy brush (had branches catch on them). I no longer hold them there. For big-game formats i just put a 140 rnd pod in the center slot for the longer deployments.

I love that pack, got it 3-4? years ago.

app pods get stuck for me and are too difficult to pull out without work, GXG makes some "cheap pod" 50 rounders that work awesome in my 5/50

So most keep them right side up rather then upside down like standard pods?

^^^ pods merely in loops without a strap pressing against the lid are carried lid up to limit spilling

I just use my 50 round pods in my standard pack without issue.

only pod I've ever lost was one that slid out of my 5/50 pack when on a run through to finish out a game. I was running full out across the back tape gun up and the pod slipped out on the run. didn't break a ball or anything in it. I've since found that when I hook the little loops over the back hinge part it prevents that.
