Can you get pepperballs in a firststrike round

First off not asking for paintball use.

I know you can get pepperballs. Fairly common. But can you get them in a firststrike round?

If so where? I could use some.

I'm willing to bet these are LEO only, but you could try contacting Sunshine Products Corp (the supplier for this link) and ask.

Just curious, why would you need a long range pepperball?

i think it's because when you are going to piss off the other guy/bear/moose you want to be as far away as possible.

The fn303 was designed to fire what was the original first strike round. Only they were heavier since they werent half a ball with fins they were a full ball with fins iirc. They had several variants of the round including a pepperball. But like the fn303 im pretty sure they are leo only. Now obviously some folks have acquired fn303s so i wouldnt be surprised if you could also acquire the pepperballs it was designed to shoot

Not so much long range. Actually really short range. Wife hates real guns so I got ahold of a FN303 so its just for general home defense.

FN303's have been reported to have issues shooting regular paintball. So I assume they would have issues with a regular pepperball. I would rather not chance breaking the indexer by using non first strike. Although at 500FPS Im sure a firststrike paintball would hurt. But I like the idea of a pepper cloud.

I know theres the FN ammo. But as said thats hard to get ahold of. But I can try.

Nah, Im to old to do that stuff. And where I live there haven't been any problems. We don't even get Halloweeners since the town does a big thing down on the village common.

Have you tried the TiPX that is designed for home defense? They seem to selll well for us and I have seen a few people Mod them to shoot the First Strike round. There is a company that sells the conversion kit and we have installed a few of them before. Customers really seem to like it.

we just went through our OC classes, truthfully while the pepperballs work, theres a higher chance of injury to the person coming through the door, wahh wahh i know, but there are lawsuits for injuries sustained by a perp when a homeowner wounds them. We did get to try the JPX, which sprays a jet out, reloads were easy, and at the 15 feet that we got hit with it, the entire face was covered.

but to answer the question, ive only seen either A pepperballs, or B less lethal first strikes, never a pepperball first strike

For what it's worth, that gsa link I supplied above also sells OC 12 ga. shotgun shells. They are also listed as Less-Than-Lethal, are cheaper, and not marked as LEO only.
