I traded my semi for a stock class phantom years ago, and played exclusively with that pump for maybe a year and a half. That period was the absolute most fun that I've ever had at paintball. When I decided I needed more fire power, I picked up a magfed ATS (back before magfed was a thing) because I wanted to keep the challenge of limited paint. I only owned a single 25 round magazine for two years.

Limited paint/pump play really does put the fun back into things.

Pump and limited paint both force you to play more and shoot less.

The biggest differences I notice between playing semi and pump:
*I use WAY more paint with the semi.
*I use WAY more air with the semi.
*The pump is much lighter and easier to maneuver
*One of my semi's is a bit more accurate than my pumps... oh well.
*My primary semi is easier to set up at the chrony.
*There is no difference in the number of hits I get, but I get hit a little less with the pump.
* When everyone is using a pump (or even limited paint), we all seem to have more fun.
"Sorry, I'm programmed to do that..."
