well not exactly. I can easily see it being used for general target practice (not fs target practice) and some testing (ex feed testing).

The product appear to have been discontinued as the page no longer display the item for sale. I acquired a 100 count jar for under $20 from Rap4 a couple of months ago. And this enterprising individual selling it for $8.50 for 13 rounds!

It's pretty much best used for testing feed issues or non accuracy based practice as it flies nowhere near the trajectory of the FSRs. Here is the original bottle it came in.

Uh... I thought paintballs couldn't be frozen conventionally, as they contain polyethylene glycol. Antifreeze.

Why would you think that?

So much for "sportsmanship".

No matter who managed/owned it, that field has always attracted idiots like that and worse. It's haunted or something

what a nice guy

They work really well for what they are.

They weigh in at 2 grams so a gram lighter than first strike.

The fins are straight and not angled like first strike, so no spin but the do fly fairly straight and true.

Rap4 still have the clear one's for sale.

RAP4.com - Real Action Paintball Shaped Projectile Solid (100 bottle) Clear $20.00 for 100 rounds, plus $7.55 for shipping

what a nice guy at $8.50 for 13 rounds, this guys making a killing or is he? looks as though he's giving them away at cost for those who are looking to try before they buy in bulk.

True cost of 100 rounds plus shipping from Rap $27.55 or $0.275 each

selling $8.50 includes ship for 13 rounds that's $0.65 each

seller cost
$0.275 X 13 $3.58
10 R tube $0.50
eBay fee's $0.85
PayPal fee $0.55
shipping $2.40
total cost $7.87 seller's profit for his time $0.62

How does he do it and stay in business

Ouch, the underlying cost of doing business does eat away at profit. Nice guy? Perhaps.

Are you the Ebay seller selling those tubes? It may be a coincidence but from your website “Alternate Buy” and the ebay seller, both of you are offering similar products and using the same stock photographs.

I had fun shooting a dozen of them and they did fly fairly straight for a short distance but I had to use my over-bored non-rifled barrel. For its intended purpose of testing, I agree they work great. Other people may have different result due to different setups but using this round beyond for what it was intended for, I personally found it problematic for my specific setup just because my marker is hard on paint and I use a tight bore barrel.

From the people I met and talked to at different fields, players want an alternative cheaper (among other things) shape projectile so they can use and maybe re-use these things for the purpose of practice and honing their skills.

To a new, uninformed or unsophisticated player, this product might be mistakenly be construed as the product for that purpose due to its similar size and shape. The lack of details on the seller webpage and the product itself does not give enough information to players that this round is just too light and too fat for accuracy testing which is what some individual may buy it for. For players using LAPCO FSR barrel, it will not fit due to the larger size. I have a HH bang stixx and it won't even enter the barrel for testing the action.
