To pump or not to pump thy autococker?

So I have this really nice matte black classic pre 2k autcocker that's in pretty good condition. There isn't anything wrong with it (besides some fine tuning). I'm really considering throwing a ccm kit on. Although, I need some advice. I've heard some negativity towards changing a perfectly good autococker into a pump. Functioning wise, if I put on a ccm kit would my autococker be on par with some of the higher end pump around today? If I do decide to change it into a pump, is ccm basically like a brand name and are there other products that can do the same thing for a cheaper price?

CCM is a brand yes, are there other pump kits? Yeah, but it may be hard to find one. Look for a pre 2k pump kit for it. You gotta remember that Snipers came first.

I've never seen someone get mad about pumping a cocker, the thing most people hate is when people halfblock rarer bodies like Karnivores.

Just slapping a pump kit on isn't going to make it as nice as a T2. Is my Sniper I/II nice, Yep - Is it as nice as a $700 pump gun? No.

Pumping it is no big deal, it's fully reversable unlike drilling holes in it. Paintball guns are made to be shot. Set it up how you'll use it.

It's not the putting pump kits on em...it's selling the front block and grip frame, tossing em, or losing em.
And before anyone gets panty bunched it's you're marker do what you want...it's just sucks seeing a custom anno missing parts

I've gone both ways & back again on my Bob Long Signature Series. The problem with this is that switching from semi to pump is easy enough; and switching it back to semi is too if you know how to time it. But, I've noticed that swapping back and forth started to put stress on some of the finer threads. So, if you're going to pump it, either keep it that way (but hang on to the pneumatics) or pick up another autococker and pump it. This is the route I took when I pumped my Trilogy. Now I have the best of both worlds.

To pump or not to pump? Thou shalt always pump thy autococker.

If you can afford it, you can you do both. If you aren't selling off the front block, basically you have two guns. That's one of the things that's great about them. Then just play whatever you feel like. I'm a mech guy myself, but have a Ripper that's got an eBlade, swing, slider, and pump. It's like a swiss army gun.

Yes, this exactly. What's your local scene like? do you currently play pump? be careful, pump play can be highly contagious. If it were me, where I live and play, there would be no question. The pneus. would get shelved...
