Rise and Shine of a CC III

Received this from a member to requesting I rework the pump stroke, polish from the inside to the out and make sure seals and 0 rings were good.

Frame was chipped (paint) so I polished it up to shiny goodness also.

I had a pair of SP wood grips I also massaged onto the frame grip.

She's a beauty and works so well it almost makes you cry...

LMK what you think of the polished frame - if you want I will recoat in black instead....?

Dang - got my ole fingerprints on her............

Is that the standard sheridan potmetal frame? did not know they could be polished up so nicely...is there a protective coat you could use to preserve that finish?

Yes it is just a standard sheridan pot metal frame and any one of them could be polished out.
I like to use Mothers mag and aluminum polish to keep shiny and protected.
Just a dab after each use and it will stay like that forever.

You could also clearcoat it...

I like the polished frame mostly because it makes the ss pump rod blend in more better.. haha

The owner of this machine is going to drop his jaw when he pumps this - its that smooth........

when you hover your mouse over the picture, the metadata pops up showing the image's name as "lawnmower tractor race." you're going to have to show off your tractors to us now that the cat is out of the bag...
