Time for a new mask any suggestions?

I'm gong to finally retire my old olive JT thermal flex goggles/mask. I have always run JT since the way back machine. About two years ago, I saw an almost identical mask in tan. I have searched around a little now and can't seem to find it. I assume it must have been a limited run, or something. Anyway, now that I'm thinking about it, My old JT's used to rub the top of my big ears raw, because the small foam blocks on the hard ears fell off like the second day I had them. and I have never been able to wear a boonie with that mask. Anyone have any insight on what might be an improvement over the tried and true JT's?
For reference, here's what I currently run.

Yeah e-flex or a v-force profiler. I prefer the profilers but to each their own.

I tried an E-Flex on and the gasket between the lens and the anti fog was really noticeable in my FOV (at the bridge of my nose). I'd try before you buy. I'm sticking with Proflex.

This new mask is coming out - same frames, but different ears (much more comfy than the hard ears) and a flex lower. The frames are the same green as the lower, this picture just doesn't reflect that.

I too was a JT guy. I use to swear the were the best goggles on the planet. I now have 2 pairs of Profilers and have never ever looked back.

Ouch.
Sounds like you need to do what I do to my various hard ears. A pair of zip-ties (carefully applied so that the sharp bit is facing outwards) should keep the foam in place. On this mask, I made replacement foam by cutting up some cheapie pipe insulation I picked up at home depot for another project.
It may not look it but this is super comfy and has lasted for 4 years now.

Not... really.
I've been looking to replace my Spectra for a while too but after wearing them for over half my life nothing else feels right.
V-Force Grillz comes close, and I really like the lens lock system on the Vents/Invert Avatar/Empire E-Vents, but it doesn't breathe as well and the face foam feels too thin.

On every other mask out there the ear pieces fail to protect my earlobes.

I gotta be honest, I've tried every new mask I could get my hands on and so far they were all stuffy, hefty, and offered no advantage over the old Flex7/Proflex I have worn almost since the beginning. I love the profiler a lot, but after a hard game my mask is literally dripping in condensation and I'm not in really bad shape, but the air just doesn't move. The same was true for the I4's and the grillz I used.

You might go try some other masks at a local store, but the best thing would be to just buy some of the newer rubber ear protection, or maybe a complete "proflex" and just keep using your spectra.

It's all about comfort though and your face may like something else better. Pay attention to what it feels like when you move your head quickly and when you breathe hard.

I would try "the inflicted's" fix, or something similar. Most other ear panels lay pretty much flat on your face also, and will probably rub your ears too.
