Gauging interest in rebuildable and anodizable qevs

Had a brain fart for a rebuildable qev after one of my old belsales ones started to leak on me.

The entire qev assembly consists of

1 aluminum and anodizable qev body
1 10-32 hollow set screw 3/8" long max
2 #2 orings
1 10/32 hose barb
1 4mm steel washer
1 4mm magnetic ball bearing.

Still in the prototype phase of these but they are easy enough for me to run off fairly cheaply, some of the components might switch around a little but I fully intend to make this out of parts that can easily be gotten.

size comparison between the raw body I just ran off the mill side by side to a palmers and belsales qev.

The intent for this was for every part to be replaceable, the qev to be as small as I could make it, and I wanted the primary seals to be orings which might never wear out under regular use in this instance.

Let me know what you think I am waiting on the ball bearings to come in before I can make a completely functioning prototype but it seems promising to me

probably like $30 a set anodized or $25 a set raw is the price point I am looking at right now. Cheaper then belsales ones, probably because they are made here and not across the pond, more then the standard pneumatic company ones that are not being resold, similar to the resold ones.

By set do you mean set of 2? Would be interested for other projects besides just paintball. Actually, should check with the guys over at spudfiles, some would be interested in these.

Yea I would think most want 2 and selling them in pairs saves on shipping for everyone.

I could sell them individually, probably shoot for $17.50 a single anodized.

Thanks for the tip I will explore other sites after I get the product together for sale.

May not be a bad idea to see if the guys on Custom Cockers - Home are interested in these, too.

i was actually able to get raw unassembled QEVs from belsales. I don't know if they'll still do that anymore.
